Local Primary School use of Monkton's swimming pool

Over the course of every week over 120 students from primary schools in the local area use Monkton's swimming pool, the school's are given the pool at a heavily subsided rate with access to all the facilities available including life guards. 

Aims

To provide affordable access to high quality swimming facilities. 

Background

Many schools could not access swimming pools in the local area so students were unable to learn how to swim.
