Aims

Designing and delivering an interactive Harry Potter experience for a group of year 6 state school students.

Background

Promoting a love of reading and providing a celebration at the end of the Ilminster year. Librarians organised wand making, quizzes, horcrux hunts and other Potter related activities followed by a meal in Big School.

Resources

All resources, librarian time, venues (Percival Library, Big School Kitchen), three course meal, prizes and goodie bags.

Pupil Involvement

30 students from Ilminster Academy.

Frequency

Annual (in June for the last two years and ongoing).
