LEH and Hampton Partnership with REACH Academy

We are delighted to announce that Lady Eleanor Holles (LEH) joins Reach Academy and Hampton School as joint partners behind a ground-breaking new sixth form college for Feltham.

Aims

Opening in September 2022, Feltham College is an innovative model of post-16 education, based on an alliance of state and independent educators alongside leaders from the business and health sectors. It will be a centre of academic and vocational excellence offering choice and opportunity to the young people of Feltham.

Background

Feltham College’s academic courses will be supported by Hampton and LEH - building on the relationship of trust that has developed at all levels over the past 9 years, and ensuring that across the board, academic courses are highly effective and set pupils up for success.

Resources

All three founding partners, with the wholehearted support of their governing bodies, are committed to a local offer that is comprehensive and accessible. Feltham College will not select pupils by GCSE results and will offer A Level courses alongside vocational qualifications in music, catering, health and social care, with all courses having the same status and esteem.

Vocational courses at Feltham College will be similarly supported by thriving partnerships: Kingston University and East London Arts & Music Academy, as well as Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and award-winning London restauranteur Jacob Kenedy will all provide valuable expertise and opportunities for the young people who attend the new college.

Situated in the town centre, the new sixth form college campus will be affiliated to Reach Academy - already a renowned local education provider. In addition to classrooms and laboratories, facilities will include a restaurant and café, music rehearsal rooms and production studios, allowing pupils on vocational courses to gain real-life work experience.
