Learning Support with Raynes Park High School
King's pupils work with Year 7 pupils at Raynes Park High School to provide assistance with reading and maths in the Access Centre (for special needs) and Learning Enrichment department.
Aims
The project aims to provide support and inspiration for Raynes Park High School pupils, and also to provide teaching experience for King's pupils.
Impact
The majority of surveyed King's students on the project indicated that it had helped them develop their collaborative and creative skillsets.
Pupil Involvement
Year 11, Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth students from King's work as assistants with Year 7 students in the Access Centre and Learning Enrichment department at Raynes Park High School.
Frequency
Friday afternoons, weekly.
