KC's School Chaplain is a governor at Crockham Hill Church of England Primary School

KC's School Chaplain is a school governor at Crockham Hill School, Kent. She attends governor meetings throughout the year and actively supports the school in events, such as Open Days. 

Aims

The chaplin is a retired Head of Religious Education and is currently working as a Lay School Chaplain.

Background

She is appointed to the governing body by the Diocese of Rochester as she is a Lay Reader in the local area.  She was asked to be a governor by the previous incumbent of Holy Trinity Church, Crockham Hill and has a special interest in SIAMS.

Impact

The Chaplin's interest in the Humanities has enabled her to work with the teacher co-ordinating those subjects in the school, who is new to that particular role.  Her experience as a teacher has helped the work of the Teaching and Learning Committee.
