Joint WorldWise quiz

Year 7 students from Larkmead School teamed up with Year 7 students at St Helen's for a geography quiz.

Aims

Students from both schools worked together in teams to solve geography questions.

Teamwork and collaboration were encouraged to help students develop enthusiasm for the subject beyond curriculum content.

Resources

The quiz took place at St Helen's, in the Yolande Paterson Hall, with 150 Year 7 students from Larkmead and all of St Helen's Year 7 students.

Impact

Through the quiz students gained wider subject knowledge and a better understanding of the relevance of the subject. They also interacted very well between schools.
