Joint History Workshop

Last week, Ibstock's LVI (year 12) historians walked up to Richmond Park Academy to take part in a joint workshop on the Stuart Period in British history. The workshop was team taught by the teachers from Ibstock and RPA. 

The nature of the workshop allowed for lots of stretch and challenge on both sides. The two teachers were then able to share a lot of teaching resources as well as expertise, in teaching this particular unit of the A Level.

Aims

Stretch and challenge for pupils.

Sharing of resources for a unit that not many history teachers will have taught. 

Pupil Involvement

15 Ibstock LVI pupils.

7 RPA year 12 pupils.

Frequency

We hope to do more of these workshops in the future.
