Introduction to Classics

Our Head of Classics has been introducing students to the Classics.  This includes learning about Ancient Athens and their system of democracy, learning some Ancient Greek and seeing the many starnds of the Classics.  This is combined with a visit to the College Treasury where pupils have the opportunity to handle ancient artefacts, including Greek vases and coins.  Students from Park Community School, Cowplain School, Everest Community Academy and the Bourne Academy have benefitted from these sessions.
