Ibstock Hosting Musical Examinations

We recently hosted musical examinations as part of the Wandsworth borough music services and the London College of Music.

We allowed this group to use our School's status as an examination centre, and they have also used our facilities for concerts. These include a street band project with our Prep School and this Summer there will be a jazz band concert.

Aims

We are helping support the borough's work and the LCM's work in bringing music to more young people. 

Background

Very few places offer examinations in musical theatre and contemporary music (e.g. rock and pop) so we are proud to be involved in this.

Our Director of Performing Arts also donated his time to accompany on piano as the pupils were performing their pieces.  

Pupil Involvement

Most recently, 15 external pupils, many from state schools, used our centre for their examinations.
