Humanities Day
A day dedicated to the Humanities with the aim of demonstrating the range of academic disciplines and careers available to young women interested in pursuing Humanities subjects. The event took the form of a series of workshops and talks and included a keynote speech by the explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes.
Aims
Edgbasbton High School offered a series of workshops to EHS pupil and state school pupils on or around the subjec fo humanities.
Background
EHS approached a number of state schoosl to see if they would like to join the day.
Resources
EHS provided all the facilites and speakers.
Impact
This annual subject area day changes focus each year and we will continue to invite neighbouring state schools.
Pupil Involvement
This event involved our Year 9 and Year 10 pupils. Pupils from the partner school were from Year 10.
