Harborne Hockey Youth Section and Flyerz Disability Group

Formed in 1903, Harborne Hockey Club are proud to be the club that scored the first ever goal in the National League! 

Harborne currently field five Men's and six Ladies’ Teams, and a Mixed and Vets Team.

During the summer, we also field Men's, Ladies’ and Mixed Summer League Teams.

One of our major successes has been the creation of our Youth Section, which has grown from strength to strength. This Junior section trains at Edgbaston High School for Girls and we offer umpring courses wiht no charge to support Hockey in the local area.

Aims

This Junior section trains at Edgbaston High School for girls free of charge. This section was established with the help of EHS. EHS offer free of cahrge facilities  for umpire and young leader hockey courses.

Pupil Involvement

E staff and girls from the school and their friends in the community. Both girls and boys from local state schools are encouraged to develop their hockey interest.

We offer the ability to Disabled hockey players the play a recreational activity in a safe and suitable environment. Athletes are between 12-30years old

Frequency

The Flyerz Group hire the pitch every first Sunday of the month and we offer this free of charge.
