Great Ormond Street Hospital charity run

Members of the Queen's College Running Club took part in the RBC Race for the Kids 2019 5k to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Aims

The Running Club, friends and their families took part in RBC Race for the Kids to raise money for the seriously ill children at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Resources

The race was done in teaching staff and pupils own time over the weekend. Time was spent in the lead up to the event training and gaining sponsorhip for the event.

Impact

Our pupils took part in a community event amongst 10,000 people who came together in Hyde Park to make a difference for the children and families at Great Ormond Street Hospital. They raised £1,680.74 for the Hospital.

Pupil Involvement

1 member of Queen's College teaching staff took 8 of our pupils from Year 7-11 with some of their families to take part in the event.
