Trustee role for MAT

The Head of Rendcomb College is now a Trustee for Diocese of Gloucester Multi Academy Trust which has 17 Primary Schools in its portfolio. His aim is to provide support and expertise. Originally, the Head of College wanted to become a Governor of one of the Trusts Primary School's but was asked if he would come onto the Trust Board. Two meetings per term are held plus additional support as required.

 

Governor role

Our Deputy Head Academic is now a Governor at Henley Bank School. They aim to share knowledge and expertise. This developed after Rendcomb College encouraged senior staff to become Governors of local state schools. The Deputy attends regular meetings and visits to the school throughout the year.

 

Governor role

Our head of Juniors has become a Governor of Charlton Kings School. The aim is to support a local school through the knowledge and experience of a senior member of staff. He applied via the Inspiring Governance website and was appointed to the Governing Body to serve as a Governor.

The head will be giving up his time to sit on the Governing Body which may on occasion require time away from work here to attend meetings and events.
