Glastonbury Oxfam banner

St Gabriel's designed a sustainable Oxfam banner as part of the Glastonbury Festival. 

Aims

To design a sustainable banner on the theme Climate Justice as part of the festival branding for the charity Oxfam. The aim was to design and paint a banner using sustainable resources from the community.  

Background

The opportunity was identified by our Head of Outdoor Education and Head of Art.  

Resources

Paint sourced from Newbury Recycling Centre. Banner donated by Oxfam Charity. Head of Art led the process alongside the Art Scholars.  

Impact

The banner was displayed at Glastonbury Festival as a decoration along the security fencing.
