Girls' U13 Cricket Festival Held at Alleyn’s

Head of Girls’ PE and Assistant Head (Co-curriculum & Partnerships), organised an U13 girls' cricket session involving 38 pupils from The Charter, Kingsdale, JAGS and Alleyn's School.

Resources

The afternoon focused on introducing and developing the basics in cricket followed by some enjoyable games taken by four London Schools' cricket coaches. The pupils were in four teams split across the schools, identified by different coloured t-shirts, which created a wonderfully positive atmosphere and much collaboration.

Impact

The afternoon concluded with certificates of participation being given out and with the distribution of contact details for all local crickets clubs to staff which they in turn would give to interested pupils.
