Geography SSLP Event for Teachers

This year’s first Geography SSLP event for teachers was held at Alleyn’s with attendance from St Michael’s Catholic College and St Saviour’s & St Olave’s schools. The teachers took part in ArcGIS CPD presented by one of the Alleyn’s Geography teachers, and Head of Lower School, Stuart Turner.

Resources

The teachers worked through a couple of data types, mapping travel distance from school and crime statistics. Lots of discussion over how to incorporate this into lessons and general approaches to teaching ensued.
