Geography Project

The project was a five week course with one session per week where Caterham 6th Form Students and Teachers come to Whyteleafe School to deliver fun, engaging enrichment sessions for Year 5 Pupils. There will be a range of topics accross the sessions. One Year 5 class will attend the sessions in the first half of the spring term, the other class in the second half of term.

The Geography groups will also host a half day of Orienteering in the Caterham School Woods for the whole of Year 5, sometime towards the end of the Summer Term (Late June).

Resources

6th Form Students will be split into 2 groups of 4/5 in order to deliver in first and second halves of term. They will meet on Thursday 1st Lunch the week before for a session on how to deliver the session for the following week.

Pupil Involvement

Ten Caterham L6 students. Sixty Year 5 Whyteleafe pupils.

Frequency

Weekly for ten weeks.
