GCSE Biology Revision Sessions with Hampton High

The purpose of these revision sessions is to offer support and guidance to Hampton High GCSE Biology pupils in addition to the teaching they receive during their normal lesson time at school.

Aims

The aim of the GCSE Biology revision sessions is to raise both attainment and confidence in pupils from our neighbouring school Hampton High. 

Resources

The revision sessions take place at Hampton School with three Hampton Biology teachers providing guidance in a range of revision activities including past exam questions, quizzes and mind maps. 

Impact

The anticipated outcomes are that the pupils’ knowledge and self-confidence will be reinforced and that the revision sessions will have a beneficial impact on GCSE results. 

Pupil Involvement

The Hampton High pupils involved are Year 11 pupils who are due sit their GCSE exams in the Summer Term. 

Frequency

This is an annual project during the Spring Term immediately preceding the Year 11 GCSE exams. Classes take place once a week for approximately one hour. This is an ongoing project.
