French Experience Morning

Our girls ran a morning workshop involving an immersive French experience featuring cafe role plays, cookery, and song and dance. 

Aims

To complement St Luke’s French teaching by offering a cultural layer to their standard lessons. It was identified as being of benefit by their Headteacher. The beneficiaries were the pupils and staff at their school (and our girls benefitted from the experience of organising an immersive project).

Background

It arose following a meeting between the two Headteachers and was identified by all as being of benefit. 

Resources

The school brought crepe making machines, and ingredients to run a cafe and crepe making workshop. Three teachers accompanied two classes of our girls. 

Pupil Involvement

Pupils from St Luke Year 3 & 4 form took part. 

Frequency

Single event, but would like to do it more often.
