Feeding Communities
One of our Year 09 students has created a fabulous calendar using her own spectacular photography of the beautiful Exmoor countryside. She sold them in aid of the charity Feeding Communities which aims to provide healthy and nutritious meals for families of carers.
Using Dulcie's photography, the art department helped Dulcie with the layout and formatting of the calendar and the school print office printed beautiful glossy calendars.
The initiative was promoted by the school on all social media channels and the and calendars sold in school.
Subsequently, the money raised (almost £500) was matched by the Thomas Franks Foundation up to £1000 and 500 meals were produced for distribution to those in need in the local community.
