Exam preparation sessions and support

Staff from Astley Cooper School visited Abbot’s Hill School as part of their INSET. The focus was to discuss exam boards used in Year 10 and how relevant skills were taught to pupils in preparation for exams. How pupils at AHS are prepared in KS3 for their GCSE course was also discussed. Ideas were exchanged between the staff at both schools.

Six teachers form Adeyfield school collaborated with the English department at AHS to attend a full day of training provided by AQA followed by opportunities to share ideas.
