Early Years’ Fun Mornings

A termly activity fun morning for children around a specified theme. Boys at the school, their siblings, and local children from other schools attend. 

Aims

To promote active learning across a range of subjects eg science, circus skills, physical education.

These mornings benefit boys at the school and their siblings, local children from other schools.

Background

Identified need by the Head of Infants at Newcastle School for Boys, to promote active learning across a range of subjects. Commenced approximately 18 months ago.

Resources

Teaching and non-teaching staff from the Infant school run the mornings.  There is no financial contribution.

Pupil Involvement

Boys at the school and their siblings, local children from other schools.

Age: 3-7 years.

Frequency

This is an ongoing activity, held termly.
