Year 10 students at Leicester High School for Girls have performed their Christmas plays for local schools.

"The Best Present Ever" and "Naughty Elves" were not only written by the pupils but they also meticulously designed costumes and staged captivating performances. The plays were aimed at conveying different aspects of the holiday spirit: "The Best Present Ever" delved into the true meaning of Christmas, while "Naughty Elves" offered a humorous take on Santa's little helpers.
The performances garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback from the young audiences. Students, teachers, and parents alike were impressed by the creativity, talent, and dedication exhibited by the Year 10 students.

Overall, the partnership aimed to promote creativity, community engagement, education, inspiration, and positive public relations through the Christmas play productions at Leicester High School for Girls.
Background
The workshops were originally devised as a means to offer opportunities to girls from local state schools, raising their aspirations and introducing them to topics in a fun and interesting way.
