Drama Outreach Programme

Our drama department have been delivering a fantastic outreach drama programme to local primary school.

In a weekly drama club, our teachers have been working with the children on preparing short sketches and choreography, culminating in a drama showcase at wellington School.

A series of visits from our drama department has been working on. We welcomed Webber's and Burlescombe Primary School for a wonderful day of Outreach Drama. As part of their weekly drama clubs they have been preparing short sketches and learning choreography to Revolting Children! from Matilda. On Friday they visited Wellington School where all of this work was polished, they had a technical rehearsal (including an awesome smoke machine) and then finally shared with an adoring audience! A brilliant day of Drama!

Aims

To provide an opportunity for children from local primary schools to access the outstanding drama provision that our own pupils benefit from.
