Cranbrook Literature Festival

Dulwich Prep School is heavily involved in the local Literature Festival, hosting author events which were open to the general public. Local primary school Sandhurst joined us for a session with a published poet, Years 5 & 6 children came together for an interactive workshop.

In addition Dulwich sponsored authors and illustrators, who held a session in Cranbrook. 50 tickets were offered free to local primary schools, and were taken up children and their families. Competitions for local schools were held including 100 word short story, bookmark and front book cover design, and extreme reading photograph competition. Winners received book tokens. The town library held a reading competition and the prize was tickets to a show, all of which was sponsored by Dulwich Prep.

Annual event. We continue to store equipment for the festival all year round.
