Community Showing of Play by Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation

Over the last few years, the IPS tutorial day has included successful performances of the Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation's drug awareness play "I Love You Mum, I promise I Won't Die".  This powerful play tells the story of the joyful life and tragic death of Daniel Spargo-Mabbs, a bright and popular sixteen year old boy from south London who died in January 2014 having taken MDMA (ecstasy) at an illegal rave.

This year, IPS has asked the charity to put on an evening showing at our theatre, and we invited other members of the community to attend. We had over 90 guests; this included IPS parents, guests from Regenerate and from Achieving for Children (local youth charities).
