Community Outreach
Our Year 3 pupils visit elderly residents in two care homes, and entertain them with singing, reading, reciting poetry, chatting and telling stories.

Background
Six years ago, this visit was set up and has been running since as part of our younger pupils' enrichment activity on a Thursday afternoon.
Resources
A teacher and two parents walk through the village to visit our elderly neighbours in a residential care home.
Impact
It's been a very successful partnership; the residents really look forward to our fortnightly visits during the Autumn term.
Pupil Involvement
Groups of 13 to 14 Year 3 boys and girls visit.

Every three weeks in the Autumn.
