Community Links - Willows Edge Care home visit

A group of Year 9 and 12 students visited Willows Edge care home to spend the day with the residents.

Aims

The aim of the day was to allow students the time to sit and talk with the residents of the care home. The aim of the session was to give our students the opportunity to learn more about members of our community through a range of activities planned by the students.

The benefits of this partnership was to raise awareness to our students while also giving them the opportunity to explore and build on their own confidence and social skills outside of the school environment.
