Christ Church New Malden Learning Support

A group of King's students from Year 10 and above work with children at the infants’ and primary branches Christ Church Primary, many of whose pupils go on to study at our senior partner school, Coombe Girls’. Students support the teachers in a variety of different ways, including helping with reading and languages, and occasionally spending time with the pupils in the playground.

Resources

Staff from both schools are present, and facilities and equipment at Christ Church are made use of.

Impact

The vast majority of King's students on the project indicated that it had helped develop their communication skills and their sense of responsibility.

Pupil Involvement

Students from Year 10 and above at King's work with pupils of all ages from Christ Church.
