Charity work and fundraising

Belmont Grosvenor School's staff and pupils support the local community in a number of ways. 

Harrogate hospital
raising nearly £3000 for the Woodlands Children Ward at Harrogate Hospital through a sponsored walk and Gunge the teacher event! The money raised was used to refurbish the entertainment room for the children on the Ward.

Yorkshire Cancer
Year 6 students as part of their BGS Award,  helped in the local community, bag packing at Morrison’s in Ripon in aid of Yorkshire Cancer.

Planting
Belmont Grosvenor School's eco team is working with the local village others locally to enhance the local area with planting.

Research
Supported research at the Historic Parks and Garden Group by having researchers visit their gardens to learn about them as part of their study on the history and development of Victorian Gardens.
