Charity Donations: Food banks and Clothes
The Prep School celebrated the Autumn Term Harvest Festival with an assembly. Pupils enjoyed singing harvest songs and learning about the importance of giving to those who are less fortunate. Pupils brought in over 340kg of food to donate to the Richmond Food Bank.
We also received a visit from a representative of the Richmond foodbank. It was interesting for our pupils to find out first hand where the donations will be going.
Prep school items, including warm coats, were also donated to Wrap Up London - a charity which distributes warm clothes to vulnerable groups, such as homeless people, refugees and those living in poverty. This excellent idea was suggested by a parent in the PTA.
