CCF Outreach sessions

Our Deputy Head Co-curricular and CCF Contingent Commander has visited local primary schools to talk about the army and a prestigious event that is happening locally. 

 

Aims

To educated local children in the background of the CCF, the local regiments and the community implications

Background

The Somerset Light Infantry, now known as The Rifles Battalion have received the Freedom of Wellington Town, involving a huge parade and celebration in the town. 

Resources

Deputy Head visited 5 separate schools to talk to the children about an exciting upcoming community event

Local knowledge, historical understanding, participation in exciting local event.
