Carers Event 2023

In partnership with our local Doctors Surgery, we collaborated together to hold a Carers Event. Local carers, looking after relatives within their own homes, were invited in to drop in sessions, to find out about local services which may be able to support them. We we were joined by cancer services, public health, local care homes, Alzheimer's support & wellbeing groups. Also people were able to use the drop in clinic, to have blood pressure and bloods test done. Tea, coffee and cake were provided, as well has some emotional support for carers looking for advice. This forms part of Summer outreach events for the wider community.
