Careers Talks

Bury Grammar School has created a partnership with St Gabriel's High School to increase access to careers talks from a number of outside speakers.

Aims

The aim of the partnership is to increase access to careers information and guidance.

 

Background

The partnership came about due to the close geographical location of the two schools and the willingness of leaders in both schools to explore the possibilities for partnership.

It was established in May 2024 and is developing to expand beyond careers talks.

Resources

The partnership uses school facilities and school staff (and volunteers from within the wider school community). 

Pupil Involvement

The pupils involved are KS4 - Years 10 and 11

Frequency

These are events that occur throughout the year. 

It is hoped that the partnership will be longlasting.
