Care4Calais Donations

Through one of our trustees, Lingfield College was a drop off point for donations of clothes and toiletries for the Afghan Refugees through the Care 4 Calais charity

Aims

Following the incredibly upsetting images of refugees fleeing Afghanistan in September following the Taliban reclaiming power of the Government one of our trustees (one of our parents) arranged a collection from Year 8 parents for this cause and had an overwhelming response, so we thought we would extend it to staff and parents. 

Lingfield College then became a drop off center for the Charity.

Resources

Used the school marketing team to promote the needs for the charity. Maintenance team helped load up all the donations to the van and with the moving of all the donations from storage in the School.
