Bury Grammar Musical Productions

BGS invites pupils from local primary schools to join with the pupils of BGS to watch the annual school production in November/ December each year.

Recent productions include The Addams Family and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Aims

The aim of the partnership is to provide cultural experiences for pupils.

 

Background

The heads of the schools involved asked Bury Grammar School to help provide cultural experiences for their pupils which otherwise they may not have had

Resources

The school puts on an afternoon performance of the show in school hours so that the primary schools can attend.

Bury Grammar School also assists with the transportation of pupils for those schools which are not within walking distance.
