Bradford Champions programme

Headmaster and Bursar give talks and leads small group discussions with pupils in Bradford Primary Schools on the topic of career paths and the world of work. The aim is to increase awareness of the variety of possible careers 'out there', raise aspirations and encourage pupils to realise that achieving their ambitions is possible. 'Champions' are deliberately recruited from diverse backgrounds and professional settings, allowing for a little myth-busting and widening of horizons - 'if I can do it, ...'. The programme includes many Bradford Primary Schools, examples of those vistied recently by the BGS Headmaster and Bursar are given in this submission.
