Bishop Thomas Grant perform 'Little Shop of Horrors'

Bishop Thomas Grant returned to the MCT at Alleyn's to rehearse and perform 'Little Shop of Horrors'. The local school enjoyed full use of the theatre, its facilities and staff for one week during the October half-term.

Resources

Help and supervision was available throughout the hire to ensure BTG could get the most out of their time in the theatre. Alleyn’s technical theatre crew were on site to supervise the building and rigging of the set and duty management staff were available on a daily basis to ensure the facilities were prepared as required and the school had all the resources they needed for a successful hire.

The venue and all technical equipment required for the show were hired free of charge to the local School. The production included all the elements required to produce a professional show, with haze, projection and moving lights all adding to the final look and feel of the performance.

45 pupils from Years 7 - 11 became actors singers and musicians over three consecutive nights performing to an audience of proud family and friends. Alleyn’s front-of-house staff managed each evenings' show ensuring an enjoyable evening was had by all.

Frequency

Alleyn's looks forward to welcoming Bishop Thomas Grant to the theatre again next year.
