Authors Workshop

We invited pupils from Manby Lodge to attend an authors workshop with St George's. 

Aims

An opportunity for pupils to meet a real children's author and be inspired to read and write.  

Resources

Provision of school facilities and minibus to transport pupils from Manby Lodge to St George's Junior School.

Three members of staff and 10.5 staff hours.   

Impact

A Manby Lodge parent said: "I just wanted to say thank you so much for organising the wonderful trip to St George’s school today. E and H had such a great time and were full of excitement and stories about their time with the author Matt Carr."

From the Head of Manby Lodge: "I have had brilliant feedback about our Yr 1 Yr 2 visit to St George's, so thank you very much for thinking of the invitation. And also thank you for driving the mini bus as transport!"
