Association of Science Education London Branch Teachmeet

College hosted the Association of Science Education London Branch Teachmeet. This  event is designed to bring together teachers and other experts in science education to share ideas and build working relationships. The event was attended by 30 primary and secondary school teachers as well as representatives from science learned societies and resource developers.

Aims

The main focus of the event involved sharing of ideas about teaching and learning in science, including several presentations but QCL staff.

The College offered to freely loan biotechnology equipment to other schools (this equipment and the associated consumables are expensive and often unavailable to school Science departments).
